The PAS GRAS is pleased to support the "Oxygen Physiology and Respirometry in Biomedical Research" workshop, organised by researchers involved in the project, including PAS GRAS coordinator Paulo Oliveira.

The workshop will take place on June 25 and 26 at UC-Biotech, in Cantanhede. Participation is free of charge, including lunch and coffee breaks. However, registration is mandatory and places are limited.

The program includes a theoretical component (morning of June 25), with lectures and discussions on different techniques in the field of oxygen physiology and respirometry, and a practical component (afternoon of June 25 and the full day of June 26), featuring three hands-on sessions dedicated to different experimental approaches.

This workshop aims to provide an integrated overview of the principles of oxygen physiology and the methodologies applied to biomedical research, while also promoting the development of practical skills and direct contact with different respirometry techniques.

Places are limited to 60 participants for the theoretical component and 30 participants for the practical component, so we encourage all interested individuals to register as soon as possible.
