Risk Assessment Tool
From a diverse set of predictor variables — including transgenerational, environmental, metabolic and familial food insecurity/socioeconomic frailties — collected from multiple centres across Europe, PAS GRAS will develop a personalised Risk Assessment Tool (RAT): an algorithm able to anticipate obesity priming and development in critical age groups, and identify risk factors for specific complications in subsequent years.
On the basis of RAT, PAS GRAS will develop and implement personalised interventions by integrating non-pharmacological lifestyle modifications with rational pharmacological interventions targeting metabolic and neuroendocrine mechanisms.
