PAS GRAS Campaign
Knowledge about food and health among all ages, but especially among younger groups, is still an unrecognised obesity determinant. Public awareness about overweight and obesity, and related comorbidities, such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease, call for multilevel strategies from individuals to society at large.
PAS GRAS is performing interdisciplinary and participatory action approaches involving youth, their families, and all relevant actors, with a focus on science and health based content together with tailored dietary and active lifestyle interventions.
The PAS GRAS Campaign brings cross-disciplinary research, within natural sciences and health, social sciences and humanities, to design, create, implement, evaluate, and validate a set of tailored tools and personalized programs for the youth, together with key players and policymakers. The PAS GRAS Campaign will be available in the 8 countries of the consortium, other countries in Europe, and worldwide.
