On the occasion of World Health Day, the PAS GRAS project joins the IV Diabetes Meeting in Guinea-Bissau, which will take place on April 11 at the Portuguese Cultural Centre.
Under the theme “Diabetes: a challenge in Guinea-Bissau”, this meeting brings together healthcare professionals, civil society representatives, and other key stakeholders to address one of the most pressing public health challenges in the region.
The initiative includes the active participation of our co-coordinator, Eugénia Carvalho, who has been contributing to diabetes research, screening, and awareness in Guinea-Bissau, helping to strengthen local capacity and improve health outcomes.
Through its involvement in initiatives like this, the PAS GRAS project reinforces its commitment to advancing global health, promoting knowledge exchange, and fostering international collaboration to tackle metabolic diseases.
